I am thinking of getting a new laptop. It appears that they come with Wireless N networking. Will this work with a Wireless G router? If it won't, will my Wireless G computers work with a Wireless N router?

Yes at G speed
Wireless N client radios (like in the laptop) will fall back to G if you connect to an 802.11g only router. Same with the N router. If you connect with a 802.11g only client radio, it will fall back to G.
