If anyone knows about a dual-mode phone - except the Motorolla one - that is commercially available I'd love to know about it

The Motorola demands 11a protocol doesn't it? Not sure about this one.

Thanks for the info. I would be very surprised if the Motorolla uses
802.11a because of the power consumption of the "a" chipsets. Unless there is a new chipset out there this is probably not correct. Of course, I could always be wrong - and often are... Thanks againJoin the Discussion
