Just acquired a new Dell Inspiron laptop

with Ubuntu 7.04..

Was thinking of utilizing it as a mobile wireless network audit box, but just noticed that these new Dells only come with an ExpressCard slot and no older PCMIA slot..

So, I can't use my Orinoco Gold card with antenna they way I do on my other machines..

Anyone familiar with either Debian Linux friendly ExpressCard to PCMIA adapters?

Or are there any ExpressCard wireless A/B/G adapters that support Debian Linux and the use of an external antenna?

Thanks..

Ubuntu is very good at detecting various peripherals. You might want to peruse the Ubuntu forums for an answer to your question.
