Dell laptop & verizon wireless card

Has anyone had any luck getting an adapter so the verizon broadband card fits a dell laptop? My husband purchased(it's on back order) one from synchrotech. Just curious if someone out there has one thats working??

Why would you need an adapter? PC Cards are a standard.

Not any more. Dells are shipping with ExpressCard slots.

Try to keep up, will you?

I thought this was a mistake, when I saw they were doing this, but it turns out that I have never used the single PC card slot on my Dell. With USB, firewire and an SD slot, the PC card seems redundant.

Until something else comes along that you'd rather have mostly internal than hanging off a wire; e.g., HSDPA wireless.
