Flash updating a D-Link 624+

Hi, I have updated my D-Link 624+ to the newest UK firmware, when I looked the version number for the US is higher. If I flashed the UK version the the US version would it work? I am curious as to what the diffrences are, could it just be the wireless channels the UK dont have or additional functionality?

The other way round. The US has less channels available (2 less) than we do.

You'll lose 12, 13.
