I have a desktop computer with high speed internet. I also have a Dell laptop that is capable of connecting to the high speed internet wirelessly and has done so successfully. However, how can I get the ability to print from my laptop to the printer that is attached to my desktop pc? I would also like the ability to be able to see/access files that are on my desktop pc from my laptop. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do a google search on sharing a printer and folder in Win XP Home. The short: right-mouse click on desktop printer -> Sharing. Ditto for folder.
You probably need to read up on Windows networking a little.
Make sure you wireless is secured with either WPA preferably or WEP.

If it's not XP Home, then it's one of the others.
