What do you mean you don't have any software for it? Are you referring to software that control your wireless network card? If so and if you have Windows Vista or XP, then you do have software for it. The Windows wireless zero configuration utility controls the wireless network card unless the proprietary software is installed. What is the make and model of your wireless network card? If you don't know, check the computer specs.
