I have a belkin pre-n wireless adapter in a vaio nvr23 laptop and it constantly loses the connection to my AP. I used to reboot the machine to get it working again but have found out if I just take the card out and plug it back in it starts working again. Is anyone else having this problem ? I don't know if it is total crap drivers from belkin (probably), a problem with XP (probably) or if my aging D-Link AP is going out to lunch.
Help, this sucks and is driving me insane.

I'm sorry, i meant onthe belkin router. Certain settings aren't as reliable as others. You want each packet acked for example. You might want try playing with those settings.
I have the Belkin Wireless Pre-N network adapter, version 1000, in my Compaq Evo N610c laptop. I use the Belkin Wireless Client Utility with 128 bit WEP security encryption to configure the wireless connection. The Windows XP Wireless Connection Utility did not connect with the WPA security.
