Can a wireless bridge 802.11b communicate with a AP 802.11g or is this incompatible.
If the access point is configured for "b & g" and not "g-only" it will work.
Yep, it will work fine with one limitation that may or may not be a problem for you: if you are using any of the 802.11g proprietary "turbo rates" (DLink/Linksys), once an 802.11b device connects to that 802.11g WAP, everything falls back to standard vanilla 802.11g
