Hi

Is there anywhere I can read who is offering what in the way of packages for VOIP here in the UK?

Is anyone offering a service that is free? (But not dependent on a subscription to something else)

sorry, what part do you hope to be free ? You may want to see the page about calling other services, found on the Sipgate (.co.uk) website as that will give you clues to the names of their UK competitors.
