Does any one know of a decent linux USB phone for SIP (VOIP) I want to connect to our company Asterisk box from anyware wirelessly or connected to the net though a net cable.. makes sence.. bring the office with you to work portably anyware where there is some form of internet decent.. get calls to your extention where ever you are instead of racking up cell bills. plus if decent net connection wow better quality then cell.. cell is so un professional as it is..
I use Linux as my main system and really don't care for buggy Windows . I do use windows when absolutly nessary (like when I need to learn some windows program for a client, or playing with configuring something in windows for a client) but I mainly use Linux debian. I have a seperate computer with Xp on it for testing crap out for once angain clients..
See the company I work for does not want us to waste time playing with windows problems so we all use linux.. and well its effective.. we just work.. not play with scanning and fixing garbage .. it kinda cool.. now I use VOIP and I really would like to use it on my Debian loaded laptop remotly through my WiFi card.
but well I can't seem to find any decent USB VOIP (SIP) phones??? I just don't get it .. If the hardware has windows drivers thats great , when it also supports Linux well (fully functional) usualy its a best seller.. what part of money does the hardware manufacor not understand
