Beyond that, it depends on what you're trying to do. The question, as asked, is meaningless. You cannot simply 'convert' a circuit-switched TDM bit-stream to packet data. There may be 30 _distinct_ streams of bits that need to be packetized independent of each other. Or, it may be just one stream of bits. OR, it may be 'something in between'.

Possibly a two-port router -- one Ethernet port, one E-1 port -- may do what you need. Or it may not. Only you know.
