I tested the entire setup a couple of months ago, the equipment felt cheap, it does work with DSC however its a bizarre programming setup to get it to work, also if 2 radios send at the same time the signals jam and is not received.

Not so cheap, but works good for me is the digital units from Telular/Telguard. Uplink is (or was) cheaper, but they just aren't as nice as the plug and play operation of the Telguard stuff.

I've got a bunch of TG-4s in the field. Good stuff. I've got one ap where that TG-9 might come in handy. Most other older installs will get replaced with TG-4s in the next couple months.
