Hi. I have been out of the game for a while but have a problem with a mates Esprit alarm I am trying to help him with. Returning from holiday he found the keypad has gone completely dead but the PIR sensors are still activating. We tried disconnecting and reconnecting the mains and the keypad sprang into life (along with the siren a few seconds later). However 24 hours later the keypad is dead again.
I am thinking that this could be a power supply or battery problem. The LCD keypad would need more juice than the PIR's and I am guessing that is why it is dead and the sensors are not.
Anyone got any ideas?
