I have never had or used an alarm system before, and I just got a cheap powermax+ unit for my apartment. Everything is pretty much setup and working but I cannot seem to get the squawk option to work. Is there anyway to get the squawk option to work with the internal siren and keyfob? It says that I have the squawk turned on, but I do not hear anything once it is armed. Do you need an external siren for this, if I do does it have to be wired or can I get a wireless siren?
