I work for a small electrical contracting business that does amnily low voltage work (Burg & Fire). When installing fire we work with Fire-Lite mainly. On a take over account, I can across this Notifier AFB-200, which looks like their version of Fire-Lite's 9600 panel.
Like the Fire-Lite panel, this panel has a level 1 and level 2 password (defualted to 00000 & 11111, respectively) but the installer changed the passwords so that we cant even update the time settings.
On a 9600, tech support will give a procedure to return the passwords to default (they even include the procedure in the manual, now). However, Notifier is not as willing to speak to you unless you are an "authorized" distributer. I hate that ^%$#! Whose friggen panel is it??!! An your telling me the owner can't authorize me to work on HIS panel. Companies/engineers can be such idiots.
Does anyone know how to return the passwords to defualt on this panel. Any help would be much appreciated
