I have never come across that one. But I hang on to those old

1200/2400 modems as they are still used by automated fuel pumps for the credit card transactions.

And you have an automated fuel pump ...... do you?

I used to have one but I traded it for a bridge.

I was the guy who repaired the console all the time for the gas pumps at my parents grocery store. Sorry, no bridges. We just all own 4x4 and climbe down threw the washes and back up the other side. No bridge needed.

In this part of the country we have bridges over everything. The only washes we have are either sitting beside our clothes dryers or a place we bring our cars to get them cleaned.

I have couple customers with the fuel man diesel pump islands and they do a good business with them. and you still need those old modems for them. and the computer used to pull and tally the results has to dial in also which makes for fun as well at least the computers modem can be 56k

As someone who's tested countless modems over the last 20 years I've found if it's not listed in the software 99.9% of the time it won't work.
