What brand and model long range transmitter and receiver do you like and have experience with. I want to hook up a 12 VDC surveillance camera through spotty trees for 1/4 of a mile.

This one is probably overkill but it will give you an idea of what can be done.

That one is for telemetry control. You have to pair it with a different radio for the video signal.

LOL. Close though. A Falcon Plus would do the job.
You're right. I pulled up the wrong page. Either the Eagle PLUS (4 miles LOS) or Falcon PLUS (7 miles LOS) might be ok.
Here's that EaglePLUS page. I'll post the Falcon PLUS tomorrow if I have time.
