I think ADT is already diluted. Who would actually want one of those signs? I'd be ashamed to put one in front of my house.

Actually it is a formula sales tactic. Years ago when I was a saleman for another alarm company we were taught to soft sell, then hard sell, then offer a free sign for corner houses especially in new housing developements.
