ADT SW3000

Who makes the ADT Safe Watch 3000? I need to take one over, is it proprietary?

Honeywell/Ademco Vista 20P never had problem taking one over, except you can't Compass it.

Even if you *96, *97 and reprogram the panel???

Nope. You need the ADT "impersonality" disk. :-)

ADT branded panels do not use the CSID feature. The software itself replaces the function of the CSID. A personality disk won't help either. It doesn't work like First Alert panels do. It requires a actual ADT version of Compass.

It's an ADT version of the Vista-20P, should be no problem

No it requires the ADT version of Compass

Not true, some don't but several still use CSID's

Thanks. I will end up replacing it anyway. I found out today that ADT owns the equipment.

Maybe the panels installed by Dealers???

Nope. But I have been able to Compass one by swapping out the chip....personally it's not really worth the trouble to get a chip though.

Well those too mostly because they are standard panels with ADT logos like the Concord Express or DSC 1555.

The original Vista-10ADT appears to have no CSID that can be changed within the software however the later V10ADTE and G panels did

how do you get the chips? Do they sell them?

No they don't sell them.
