Ademco 20P EOLR question

Experimenting with my new 20P system. I plan to have a qualified installer come in and set it up with monitoring after learning a bit about it myself. That said, the question I have is on the EOLR setup. House is prewired. Zone has two contacts on it. I have a hot wire running from the panel to the window contact (terminal 1), exiting that contact on (terminal 2) going to the other window contact (terminal 1) then, exiting there (terminal 2) and going back to the panel. My question is where does the 2k resistor go? from the second contact (terminal2 to the wire going back to the panel or strapping terminal 1 and terminal 2. Or is the wiring correct? Should it be wired differently? I get circuit continuity with the windows closed in current configuration. Any help appreciated.Thanks

Well they got all those multi-purpose cases they need to use up first.

If only they added zone doubling to the expanders. Of course then they wouldn't as many...
