Most encoders have two streams. A customer wants to record one stream locally at the encoder site with high CIF and frame rate. The customer wants to record the second stream from the same encoder to a remote HQ at lower frame rate to have an easy on the bandwidth real time redundancy. On first blush everyone says no problem. It's simple. Okay here is an order based on that ability. All called back with a Rube Goldberg design and crawfish on the menu. Unbelievable! Situations like this are one of the few things I hate about this industry (other than itch-a-lation.)
