Nortel MICS...is it NI1 or NI2

I have a vendor who is trying to deliver some new services to my company, specifically my Nortel MICS phone switch. The vendor is asking me if my switch is set for NI1 or NI2, something to do with the way caller id is delivered. We own this system out right and currently don't have a vendor to support it. Would someone be able to shed some light on what these protocalls are and how I would be able to determine which protocall my phone is setup for. All help appreciated.
