Hi all. Can somebody help. System is option 11c and i made a call wait key on five M3904 sets and on some analog sets. Now user wants that if he is busy on call and 2nd call comes on call wait key then it should be pick by some code by other extension like we made pick a call of ringing extension(by pickup group code).is that possible??? or any trick to do that??? Or simply can we pick call waiting call by any FFC code. thanx and regards
On the 3904 sets, can you use a second DN (or a DN that is the KEY about the personal DN, so that calls while busy are ringing a DN rather than CWT.
For the analog sets, I don't have any ideas other than the $20 phone needs a feature that some might pay $350 to get....about the cost of secondary mkt phones + a 16th of a digital card?
If you start assinging more DNs - such as "non-DID/DDI" ranges, keep in mind that in a few years, you might be glad you didn't pick the leading digit at random. It is a way big hassle to implement coordinated dialing or any dialing plan between sites if the administrator used up numbers in each of the 1000's, 2000's, etc though the 8000's
