i am looking for a way to pass some VPN traffic (PPTP) through a NetScreen 5 configured in NAT/Router mode to an external VPN server. I craeted a trust to untrust security policy containing the necessary ports and protocols (TCP/1723 and GRE) but this does not work. I was told it depends from the ScreenOS version. Has someone a working config or another example?
also i tried IPSec/L2TP, which didn't work either probably due to the NAT. i heard about the possibility do tell the NetScreen to pass the IPSec-packets through. So together with a NAT-T capable VPN-server it should be working to. Any hints?
