Corporate firewall location

Do corporations really have one firewall for every worldwide office? One caution in the GeoStates page for LIve 365 broadcasters advises that some locations recorded may not be 100 percent accurate becuase someone from work may be listening from behind a corporate firewall in another location. I find it hard to believe that a company with offices all over the world would have just one firewall for the entire company. One would think that each branch office wold have its own firewall, instead of just one for every office building they operate from all over the world.

A firewall is a connection point between two security zones, where you're controlling what's allowed to communicate between hosts in the two zones.

Many companies route traffic between branch offices to the main office, each office has a firewall. In the case of web access, it's often a good idea to not allow branch offices direct access to the net, pushing all traffic through a VPN tunnel or a leased line, and they browse the web through the main offices connection (passed back to their location).

So, every office has it's own firewall, but, as in typical settings, the branch offices have no outbound access from THEIR internet connection.

Again, you've show how little you understand about networking, security, traffic, and anything else you've tried to say you can get around.
