You can't do this without the flux-capacitor up-converter. look on ebay for a flux capacitor.
The 2950 does not do this.
You will need a crossover cable.
If you are desperate (as I was recently) you can make one that works at 10M bps by cutting the cable and twisting the wires together. My 3m cable worked.

IT is not entirely clear wht the original poster was looking for but it appeared to me that he was wanting to conect two switches without using a crossover cable,
Many of the more recently released Cisco equipment supports auto-mdix.
Just check the web site for specifics but if I recall correctly
2560, 3560, 3750, 837, 857, 877, various cards for 4500, all do auto-mdix if it is enabled. In many cases it is off by factory default.catalyst 1900. can do....
