Show Logg displays gmt time

Feb 01, 2007 2 Replies

I have a Cisco 7204VXR and I have set the time as well as NTP using

clock timezone EST -5 clock set 10:17:00 Febuary 1 2007 clock summer-time EDT recurring 2 Sat Mar 2:00 last Sun Nov 2:00 ntp server "IP address of local time server"

While the command sho clock displays the time in EST the command sho logg still shows GMT time.

How do i get the logg to show GMT time?

sho ntp assoc and sho ntp status display the clock is synchronized with the time server.

Thanks,

Steve

I think you mean that you want the logs to show local time.

service timestamps log datetime localtime msec show-timezone service timestamps debug datetime localtime msec show-timezone

thanks,

That is exactly what I needed.
