Nope, you need to configure them for failover only. You cannot do etherchannel across 2 different switches.

Just for the record, you CAN create an etherchannel across two different
3750's so long as they are stacked...-wil
They are not config-wise different switches, they share the same mac table, same arp table, same everything, they are a virtual chasis if you will......
