Is there a limit on how many secondary IP addresses you can assign to an interface?
Yes, you need to fall within the IDB limits on the platform/IOS you are running.

Secondary addresses don't actually eat up IDBs.
I see some evidence that some people have actually successfully configured as many as 400-500 secondary addresses on an interface.

Ah, somebody in TAC long ago told me they did. My requirements never were close to the 100's though.
