ports

~ HI there, ~ I have a Cisco 2511 with dumb terminals attached to the serial ports. ~ How can I reset the ports for the respective terminals that get locked ~ up from time to time? ~ Thank you

Well you can do a 'clear line ' from the router exec. Not sure if that will help the locked up terminals though.

If there is a known ASCII string that you can send to the terminal that will cause it to reset itself, then you could write a reset chat script, which would run when you do the 'clear line'.
