OSPF Down when remove subinterface

Cisco 7204 I have for example 5 subinterfaces Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.100 (dotq1 vlan100) with ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.101 (dotq1 vlan101) with ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.102 (dotq1 vlan102) with ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.103 (dotq1 vlan100) without ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.104 (dotq1 vlan100) without ospf

serial 0/0 with ospf

when I remove interface Gigabit Ethernet GigabitEthernet 0/0.103 all ospf neighbour on interface 100,101,102 down i see only ospf neighbour on serial

Interface gigabit is still up and protocol is up I still have access from interace 104 to router (up)

Maybe soft bug 12.3(6b) ?

why do you have 3 subifs on the same vlan?

Did you try disabeling 0/0.100 and re enabling?

Of course its mistake I have:

Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.100 (dotq1 vlan100) with ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.101 (dotq1 vlan101) with ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.102 (dotq1 vlan102) with ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.103 (dotq1 vlan103) without ospf Gigabit Ethrnet 0/0.104 (dotq1 vlan104) without ospf

can you show ip ospf and output it here?

Have you tried shutting down GE 0/0 all together and reloading?

No because I was logged on one of subinterfaces and I could shut off from router.

Check to see if VLAN100 has come down. Due to a VTP problem, if your running VTP

Sh ip int brie

also make sure the network that VLAN100 is in, is still assigned in OSPF.

Also theres no harm now in going ahead and removing .104

Sorry its hard to troubleshoot with no knowledge of topology and other settings.

Sh run would be helpful but I understand not wanting to share company sensetive information

Show ip ospf interfaces w ould also help

If you figure this out post what the issue was! OTher wise ill keep working with ya
