The fans in an old 2900XL are noisy, and I want to clean them. I removed the rackmount "ears" and the four screws from the back of the chassis, but the cover doesn't want to come off. Is there something else involved, or do I just need to get more forceful with it? :-)

The fans are noisy even when they were new.
The cover comes off readily, but yes, might need a little coaxing off.
The top just slides right back off the chassis.
