Lightstream 1010

Just picked up a Lightstream 1010 off ebay to add to my lab and was wondering which PAMs would be most useful. Lab currently has 5x 3640,

2501, 2503, 2511, 2520, and a Madge 8xBRI 1xPRI ISDN switch.

DS3 and/or IMA T1. The 3640 is the only thing listed that will do ATM. If you had a cisco 7200, then the OC3-MM's are quite abundant, but the ATM OC3 NM's are probably going to be fairly rare. The ATM25 PAMs are an option, but was fairly rare even in ATM's hayday.

You could try to find some of the ethernet termination or T1 circuit emulation ones to throw in some mix, but again, going to be harder to find than straight up DS3 or IMA T1.

The Lightstream boxes were end-of-support quite while ago (I think at least

7 years). They were used primarily in networks using ATM as the backbone technology, but ATM is pretty much a dead technology today. I wouldn't invest any more money in this box.
