IOS 12.3(2)T 837

Could someone tell me how much memory is required to run IOS 12.3(2)T on a Cisco 837. I only have guest access to Cisco. Apparently, Cisco stopped including memory requirement on their release notes at some stage. They say to use the configuration tool to check memory requirement unfortunately guest logins cant access it.

My 837 has:

128k NV config memory 8192k processor board flash 2048k processor board web flash 32MB DRAM

Thanks

12.3(2)T isn't on their site anymore, but the newest 12.3 T train requires 64mb (12.3.(14) I believe). The older ones may only require 32, but that was only IP/FW, all the IP Plus that I've seen require 48 to 64. So you might be able to swing 12.3(2), but probably not ip plus.

AFAIR there was no 12.3(2)T for the 83x series router.

12.3(2)XA7 should run both IP/FW/3DES and IP/FW/Plus/3DES images on 837. 12.3(4)TPC11b, 12.3(4)T, 12.3(7)T IP/FW/3DES should run with 32MB only.

This router is EoS/EoL so why not go for a cheap 16MB DRAM upgrade on ePay??? With 48MB RAM / and 12MB Flash it should run 12.4(21a) non PLUS images nicely with "memory-size iomem 5". Estimates from 836 brother. No 837 here in Germany because all ADSL is AnnexB/ISDN even with POTS telephone lines. The 837 images are slightly smaller than 836 because no ISDN BRI support.

SDM can/should be installed locally on the PC, so no free flash is needed. The flash is better used with external ADSL fw on todays DSLAMs.

I found some cheap 16MB DRAM and 4MB flash will try 12.4(21a) non PLUS if I can find it. Do you happen to know what the file name is for 12.4(21a) non PLUS and I will Google for it ??

Thanks
