how to remove routing commands

May 25, 2006 1 Replies

In CISCO IOS prefixing a routing command with "no" will make it inactive. But that still leaves a pair of entries in the show config listing. How can I REMOVE a command entirely from showing up in the show config?

Thanks for your help

Yes, in the -running- configuration.

Yes, in the -startup- configuration.

Save the running configuration as the startup configuration.

copy run start
