Error message decoder

Hi!

All

i am having problem in my cisco router 2621XM series, the problem here, is while Powering up my router, i am getting a error message decoder like example :".!!#$^^^" on the console screen in the PC. what could be the problem? i have checked and chaged the RAM/Flash etc. the same output i am getting on my console screen in the PC.please help me out.

What sort of terminal are you using? (Hyper terminal?)

or .....

What is the setting for your baud rate, flow control.. etc...!???
