Console Cables

Can anyone recommend a supplier to get console cables from?

I came into thirty-four Cisco 1602R routers that were discarded. I am giving them to my students so they have something to experiment with the IOS with. They have everything they need except the console cables.

I'd like to be able to give them the name of a supplier, the part number, and the cost so they can easily get one.

I'm leary of telling them to find one on Ebay. Then they'd all be bidding against themselves.

Regards,

Fred

Fred You don't say where you are from so that makes it difficult to suggest somewhere to buy them. I would recommend that the students buys a DB9 -

standard RJ45 cable. This might help teach the students a little about RS-232 communications Here is a link to the Cisco site that shows the pin outs etc
