configuring commands in advance

hi, cisco router or switch allows us to configure something though part of the configuration which it is referencing is not yet configured.like



this command will be allowed on a physical port thought vlan 100 is not configured.



switchport access vlan 100



this command takes effect after vlan 100 is configured. what do u call this kind of configuration. like here i am referencing vlan 100 without configuring it.
