I have a question regarding configuring a Cisco 3640 with a point-to-point T1.
The T1 is currently running on a serial interface connected to an external CSU/DSU with a V.35 serial cable. What I wanted to do was move the T1 to connect to the router via a WIC-1DSU-T1 card that I installed. I configured the serial interfaces the same, however I cannot get the T1 to come up when plugged into the WIC card instead of the external CSU. The interfaces are configured identically, but the WIC card will not work. Am I missing something in the Cisco configuration, or is there something that needs to be done in the way that the T1 is handed off? (I'm somewhat new to this, so please bear with me.)
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
