I have a pix 501 and cox business cable at my house. I have a static IP address, which works on my computer just fine, but when I use the pix, I cannot ping my default gw. The funny thing is that I am able to obtain a Dhcp address on the pix when I select that option, so I know that I am talking to someone on the network.
All of the configuration settings look fine - I have been over the config about 10 times now looking for any problems.
Has anyone run into a similar problem? Thanks for your help.
