- Expert level knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
- Expert level troubleshooting skills for LAN/WAN issues with deep dive an= alysis.
- Must take ownership of network issues and drive them to resolution. Prov= ide recommendations and RCA for network issues.
- Expert level knowledge of Layer 3 Protocols: EIGRP, BGP
- Expert level knowledge of Layer 2 Protocols: STP, RTSP, HSRP
- Must have experience working with service providers =96 MPLS, VPLS, EPL = etc
- Must have experience with deploying QoS/Cos
- Experience with Cisco WAAS.
- Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools - CiscoWorks, Solar= Winds Orion, Kiwi Syslog etc
- Knowledge of Cisco 6500 architecture, troubleshooting, IOS upgrades etc
