Job Responsibilities:
*Will include the presentation of relevant information regarding our client's networks to account leadership and customer interface. Conduct feasibility studies for strategic and tactical plans, design of networks, and evaluation of network services/technology for current and future network development.
*Plans, designs, and implements networked systems, including configurations, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches. Conducts analysis, prepares reports, and works on project implementation. Ability to scope out requirements, design solutions.
Required Skills:
*Qualified candidate must have 3-5 years of hands on network experience*
*Demonstrated knowledge of IP addressing, networking technologies enterprise and legacy how to incorporate these technologies to achieve business requirements*
*Cisco or Nortel internet working device*
*Use of packet capture and other troubleshooting tools*
*Experience with MPLS, BGP, and other routing protocols*
*Understands how Internet applications behave including sessions, persistence, cookies, etc*
*Experience supporting caching technologies primarily Cache Flow, VoIP, VPN, routers, concentrators and firewalls Cisco / Checkpoint and Layer 2 & 3 switches*
Desired Skills:
*CCNA or CCNP*
