cisco 1242 WAP web interface problem

Cisco AIR-AP1242AG-E-K9 IOS: c1240-k9w7-mx.124-10b.JA3

I had problems with this wap and I suspected corruption of the firmware so I formatted the flash contents and reloaded a brand new IOS (above) But the web interface now no longer behaves as it used to. On the home page the Network Interfaces section used to display the status of the ethernet, radio0 and radio1 but now it doesn't do that, the heading is there but the data is missing. If I go to Express Setup and enter ip numbers the Apply button doesn't do anything. If I go to Network Interfaces the radios G and A are permanently down and I can't do anything to make them come up. If I go to Express Security and enter and SSID and a wep key nothing happens when I click the Apply button. I've googled quite a few cisco docs but nothing explains what is causing this. Thanks for any help.

further to my previous post I read somewhere on google about .img radio files. Are these what I'm missing? any help here would be appreciated, this is driving me up the wall.

I found the solution to this problem so I'm posting it here in case in benefits anyone. It turned out it was the firefox browser I was using. I must have re-loaded the IOS about 6 times before I tried Internet Explorer 6 instead, and discovered that in IE6 the web interface was perfect and it all worked like a dream. I don't know why firefox was so useless on this occasion but at least it won't catch me out again.
