c827 vs c1721

Hi,

I'm just wondering why my new cisco 1721 (IOS 123-9) don't synchronise ATM as fast as my c827 (IOS 123-9) on the same line. The DSLAM in front is Alcatel.

The c827 syncs at 7616/1024 and the c1721 only at 7616/928 Loosing about 100kbps on upload

The c1721 in auto mode selects ANSI T1.413, the c1721 selects g.dmt

So I've tried all the dsl operating-modes possibles and no improvement on the upload way.

Any idea ?

Here is my c1721 config for ATM with ANSI-DMT like th c827

Hi again,

Just retrieve the show dsl int atm0 with the c827 to compare with.

Seems like if the negociation stops at noise margin=12db on the c1721 (previous message) and descend till 8 db on the c827 (see below). Any way to get an improvement on the upload ?
