BT in the UK???

If you are a ccie, then you no doubt have contact with your SE/partner account managers. Let them know abot the huaweii issue and that you are looking to go to a decent cisco shop- they will probably pass on your name if you have a good track record. I assume BT are probably like any large telco to work for - good in some ways bad in others.

Speaking as somebody not long out of there I'd say that if you can handle working for a large impersonal corporation where everybody is watching their own back rather than doing their job then go for it - I'd personally never go back for any amount of money just due to the sheer s*it levels encountered in my 5 years there.

Lots of people get on fine, lots don't.

It really depends on you.

Their payscales are definitely at the bottom end of the range, and they don't give a damn about people - if you end up on a RIF list then you're gone regardless of how good or nice you are.
