Bonding 2 T1's

May 18, 2005 3 Replies

Hello,

What's the smallest router I can safely use to use multilink PPP with 2 T1 lines?

Will a 1921 with c1700-y-mz.123-2.T9.bin running suffice, or would I have to go with something bigger, say a 2611xm?

TIA

John

What layer 2 protocol?

1921?

You mean 1721, right?

If they are point to points, you can do it pretty easily (cuz you control layer 2)... just encap ppp, and create a virtual template.

My bad...I meant a 1721.

Regarding Layer 2 protocols...PPP.
