Hi,
How do you bring UP an SFP interface on a 3750G? I have a VLAN 5 setup for it that I want this interface to go through... Can't seem to work at the moment.
Thanks!

no shut
Please provide more info/config etc..
Sorry...here's config ont eh interface
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/12
What is connected on another end? Is it the same type of SFP adapter (i.e. Multimode SX or Singlemode LH/LX/ZX)? Are you sure that the fiber between devices is good? Have you checked another end, if it has "no shut" on the corresponding interface? Are you sure you connected TX on one end to RX on another and vice versa?
Basically, in most cases you can check SFP functionality by just connecting TX to RX on the same adapter. Or bring another switch, and make sure you connected fiber RXTX, etc.
Good luck,
Mike

Just solved this! .....wrong fiber mode......!! One is single and the other is multi!....This is insanely simple to overlook.
