I downloaded the latest IOS version for my 2611. I didn't like I couldn't use ssh server version 2. But what I did dislike was that my console froze when trying to open an ssh session on e0/1 interface. The console stopped to work. I didn't try to repeat the same thing from a telnet or ssh session.
1) Few days ago I asked whether should be possible to install IOS developed for XM hardware (2611XM) as for 12.4 release is available. Could it be a solution?
2) How to kill/reset console session?. It didn't work to disconnect HyperTerminal and re-connect again: I got no response from my 2611
Could anyone help me?
