ccnp expiration

Nov 18, 2005 7 Replies

Hello,

When will my ccnp expire if I pass the first exam of four in 2005, two exams in 2006 and the last one in 2007? Will it expire in 2008 or 2010? I've passed ccna recently.

Hi,

I am curious too. Just recerted by CCNA and want to go for the CCNP. I know you have two years to finish the CCNP since taking the first test, so I guess it counts from the time you take your last test 3 years.

So come on CCNP's, whats you expiration date?

When you pass you CCNP you get 2 years from that date, at the same time your CCNA is recertified by 3 years from the same date automatically.

I think that's how it goes?

CCNP is 3 year cert too...

Foundry Networks are 2 year.

definetely, 3 years from last ccnp exam. if you again take any of ccnp in 3 years ccna will be re-certified to recertify ccnp you need to pass both switchign and routing.

The CCNP is awarded when you complete the last exam.

It is valid for three years.

Then you need to take the routing and switching exams again, or the composite to recertify, or take a CCIE written exam.
